The Aston Clinical Academic Training Office (ACATO) is seeking an organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the efficient delivery of our internship programmes, research workshops, and other key initiatives. Working closely with the ACATO Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth coordination of events, maintaining communication channels, and providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the success of ACATO activities. You will coordinate internship programmes, research workshops, and events. This includes managing logistics such as scheduling, venue arrangements, and communication with participants. You will assist in promoting ACATO activities through digital and printed materials and will provide administrative support, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records. Preparing reports, presentations, and assisting with grant applications will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will engage with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration.
Educated to degree or equivalent, you will have experience in administrative roles, maintaining records, and data management. Strong organisational and communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), are essential. Experience in a clinical or academic training environment and event coordination is desirable.
