An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration Officer with proven experience in similar roles to join the Public Health team in Darlington Borough. You should enjoy providing high quality administrative support to all members of team and work effectively with internal colleagues and external partners. andnbsp;
The ideal candidate will have experience in of using Microsoft Office packages, data entry and basic analysis, utilising spreadsheets, diary management and note taking to support the team to deliver key public health programmes in line with the public health priorities as set out in the Public Health service plan. Have experience of routine invoicing, creating purchase orders (including orders for non-routine items) and facilitating officers to make credit card purchases.
Key Requirements:
Ability to apply accurate literacy and numeracy skills to include spelling, grammar, punctuation, percentages and decimals. Experience of organising own work with minimum supervision and managing multiple diaries and organising complex meetings. You should feel confident to deal with members of the public, colleagues, members and external organisations.
Have a andlsquo;can doandrsquo; attitude to support the Public Health team with ad hoc requests, as well as being flexible and willing, with a motivation to perform to high standards with a degree of accuracy.
