Project Manager
Birmingham (travel will be required to various locations)
£55K - £60K + Car + Fuel Card + Package
Our client is a construction and project management firm specialising in office fit out and refurbishment projects across the UK. With a commitment to excellence and a track record of delivering high-quality results, they are dedicated to providing our clients with exceptional service and innovative solutions.
We are currently looking to speak with experienced Project Managers based in the Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing office fit out and refurbishment projects ranging from £500K to £1m in value. Working across the Midlands and South regions, the Project Manager will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
The Project Manager will:
1. Coordinate and oversee all aspects of office fit out and refurbishment projects, from inception to completion.
2. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines and milestones.
3. Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, forecasting, and financial reporting.
4. Liaise with clients, Main Contractors, Architects, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.
5. Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractors as required for each project.
6. Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
7. Always ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
8. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, performance, and profitability.
As the Project Manager you will have:
1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, specifically with office fit out and refurbishment projects.
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
5. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
6. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
