Role Overview:
We are seeking a caring and experienced Teaching Assistant to work with Key Stage 3 students who require additional support due to SEMH, ASD, or sensory needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting students across all subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide in-class support for students with SEMH, ASD, and sensory needs.
2. Help create a calm and structured learning environment.
3. Assist students in their academic and emotional development.
4. Support teachers in implementing individual learning plans.
5. Encourage positive social interactions and emotional resilience.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
6. Experience working with SEMH and ASD students.
7. Patience, empathy, and understanding of sensory processing needs.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
9. Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment.
