If you like being out and about in the fresh air during the day, in a work environment where no two days are the same, then this is the job for you. You will be joining a dedicated and professional team who help to keep traffic flowing across the borough. You will be part of a supportive team and each day you will be making your own decisions in a variety of situations. No previous experience is necessary, you will receive full and comprehensive training to carry out the role. What we do ask for is a can-do attitude, good judgement skills and a sense of fairness and attention to detail. A commitment to providing great customer service and good communication skills are essential. Generally, you will be patrolling by yourself, on foot or in a vehicle, and be in regular contact with your team throughout the day.
