Job summary The post holder will undertake the role of the Named Nurse Safeguarding Adults in accordance with Government legislation and guidance, on behalf of Mersey and West Lancs Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (MWL). The post holder will oversee the safeguarding adult activity, DoLS/ Liberty Protection Safeguards activity, Mental Health Detentions activity and support the Learning Disability / Autism agenda. Line Management will be part of this role. A high degree of effective communication, liaison and networking is required to maintain good working relationships within the Trust and external partners such as integrated Care Boards, Social Care and the Police.
