About the role
The Sales Development Representative role is an entry-level position that gives you a great opportunity to get started at a truly global organisation. We have ambitious growth plans and invite you to grow with us.
Sales Development is a critical component of the sales organisation at Learning Pool. As a true hunter, you will use a market leading tech stack to open new sales conversations and create sales opportunities for our Account Executives.
We are looking for people who are positive and confident in communicating to potential customers about the value that our products can bring to their business. This communication could be via email, telephone, video, social platforms such as LinkedIn, or a combination of these methods. You will be resilient and comfortable talking to strangers, instigating sales conversations and building our sales pipeline. Commission is uncapped in this role so earning potential is truly based on results.
On target earnings for this position is £40,000 per annum (base salary plus commission).
Location: This role is based in our Derry office, with occasional working from home.
What you will be doing
Roles and responsibilities include:
* Cadenced cold outreach to prospective customers across a variety of platforms (email, telephone, LinkedIn, etc.)
* Scheduling initial discovery/qualification calls with prospective customers
* Communicating with Account Executives for success (i.e. insights and intelligence about prospective customers) in a timely fashion
* Collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams to help inform Demand Generation
* Assisting Account Executives with pipeline management and prospect nurturing when appropriate/necessary
* Achieving performance metrics and quotas set by the business
Who we are looking for
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Experience / Qualification: You will have achieved a degree level qualification or have previous experience of building relationships with external customers.
* Service orientation: You will have previous experience with customer facing work, this could include anything from hospitality to customer support.
* Technically literate: You will be comfortable using technology tools to access, manage and communicate information.
* Communications: You will have exceptional communication, organisational and presentation skills - phone, email, and webinar.
* Building relationships: You will have the ability to build relationships and communicate across all levels of a business.
* Adaptability: You will have experience of working in a dynamic environment where you have been comfortable with change.
* Delivering with others: You will have a positive, professional and open-minded attitude towards colleagues, clients and ways of working.
Although not essential, it would be advantageous to have the following experience:
* A track record of working towards targets.
