Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £38,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Salisbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and experienced professional to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance (PPMs) and inspections of mechanical equipment and systems (E.g. AHUs, Fire alarms, Motors)
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in a timely and efficient manner.
Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to reduce the risk of breakdowns.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to improve overall operational efficiency.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of maintenance procedures.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field are preferred.What We Offer:
