About the role
As an HR Manager you will provide effective HR advisory and operational services throughout the business. You will partner and collaborate with the line managers and senior leadership team on the range of topics including but not limited to talent attraction, recruitment, onboarding, performance management and learning and development. As a part of our small HR team, your work will be critical in supporting and promoting our unique culture and values that make Banijay a great place to work.
Duties
* Provide operational HR support to the business.
* Establish and maintain influential relationships with key stakeholders.
* Ensure high levels of employee engagement by promoting Banijay’s unique culture.
* Provide HR advice and support to managers in respect of employment relation matters to ensure those are handled effectively and professionally, including absences, capability, performance, disciplinary and grievance processes, restructuring and redundancy.
* Provide coaching to line managers on ER compliance and employment law updates.
* Manage and enhance HR processes from performance reviews to recruitment and HRIS management.
* Identify areas for improvement in the delivery of calendar activities and help to drive through any recommendations and changes.
* Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from working with managers to draft job specifications, devising recruitment plans, engaging agencies, posting job adverts, managing applications, sourcing candidates, shortlisting suitable candidates, organising interviews, conducting interviews, giving feedback, to negotiating terms of offers.
* Consult and advise management and staff on all leave related policies such as maternity, paternity, shared parental leave, jury service, holiday etc.
* Draft permanent and temporary contracts and provide advise to line managers and employees where necessary.
* Advise employees on benefit entitlements and currently available schemes. Liaise with benefit providers on starters and leavers’ changes and renewals.
* Manage and review monthly payroll changes and work closely with HR and Talent Management Coordinator to ensure the changes are reported and actioned in timely and accurate manner.
* Provide guidance on development for managers and their teams, promoting career development. Support the design and delivery of training initiatives.
* Support annual performance and salary review processes.

Key requirements
* Degree level qualified.
* Level 7 CIPD qualified.
* Proven experience as an HR Manager within fast paced and professional environment.
* Proven experience across the entire HR function with strong administrative and HR system’s experience.
* Experience working with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
* Able to operate at a both senior level and switch to hands on operational HR administrative tasks.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organisation.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise simultaneously.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Proactive and self-motivated.
Reporting to
Global Head of Talent Management and Head of HR UK.
Contract Type
Permanent, full-time.
Hours
Monday-Friday, 9:30h to 18h.
Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the office.
