About this role We're partnering with a leading organisation to support their private cloud operations. We're seeking an experienced Linux Systems Engineer to join our team and help maintain and optimise their infrastructure. Your Responsibilities As a Linux Systems Engineer, you'll be part of a dynamic team handling high-volume infrastructure operations. You'll be responsible for building new virtual machines, performing operating system upgrades, and managing the support ticket queue. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to system stability and operational efficiency. About You We're looking for passionate technologists who enjoy working in collaborative agile teams. You'll need: Strong Linux administration experience, particularly in private cloud environments Proficiency in VM deployment and management Experience in handling high-volume support tickets and system maintenance Solid understanding of OS upgrade processes and best practices Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Experience with ticketing systems and operational support Good communication skills and team collaboration abilities About us Distributed is proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
