We are working with a school located in Central Manchester who seek support from individuals who are able to provide support on this basis. Please note, this role is for Unqualified Teachers only. The school are looking for individuals to begin work in January 2025. As a Supply Teacher, your role will focus on: Covering classes across the subjects, ensuring that students remain focused and on task at all times. Managing student behaviour and ensuring that behaviour policy is adhered to at all times. Guide students through set tasks, offering support as and when is necessary. Offering feedback on student lesson progression to staff as and when is required. Working through work set, and being able to offer students help on a small group or even individual basis if needed. Who can apply? We welcome applications from those who may have worked with children in a Youth Work, Community or Sports Coaching setting owing to the various transferable skills that these candidates will have. We welcome applications from those who have direct school experience, as well as those who may have worked within a tuition setting or similar setting. We also urge those who are contemplating teacher training in the future to apply, as this role will provide a great insight into day to day school life. What skills are required? It is essential that the required individual is able to confidently manage classes, displaying a helpful and proactive manner at all times.
