We are looking for a dedicated and organised SEND Case Officer to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role is essential in ensuring that children receive the education, health, and care support they need to thrive. The Role As a SEND Case Officer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Education, Health, and Care (EHC) Plans from the initial application to the annual review process. You will work closely with families, schools, and professionals to ensure that children and young people receive the right support in line with their needs. Your key responsibilities will include: What Were Looking For Essential Skills & Qualifications Educated to A-level or equivalent, with experience in SEND policy and practice. Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, Children and Families Act 2014, and local/national SEND policies. Understanding of educational settings and provision for children with SEND. Experience in working with families, schools, and multi-agency teams. Ability to assess, plan, and review cases effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write detailed reports. A proactive and person-centred approach to supporting children and young people. DBS clearance required.
