Handyman Location: Edinburgh Job Type: Temporary Hours: 08:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday We are currently seeking a skilled Handyman to work on school grounds, focusing on maintaining buildings and general upkeep. This is a short-term role with an immediate start, perfect for someone with a strong background in maintenance and a keen eye for detail. Day-to-day of the role: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs across school buildings and grounds. Ensure all facilities are kept in excellent condition, including painting, minor plumbing, and electrical repairs. Perform preventive maintenance to avoid future problems and unnecessary costs. Respond to urgent maintenance calls and resolve issues in a timely manner. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in maintenance or as a handyman, preferably within a school environment. Strong overall knowledge of building maintenance. Good problem-solving skills and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
