Job Description About the role As a Care Coordinator, you will be the first line of contact for a group of service users and care workers. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy of care visit schedules and ensuring the safe delivery of care to service users at a high standard. You will recruit, train, and retain a team of care workers, ensuring they meet the requirements of CQC, local authorities, and clinical commissioning groups. Your role will also involve leading and motivating staff to meet the personal care needs of service users, respecting their dignity and promoting independence. You will actively promote service user satisfaction and ensure the implementation of the National Care Standards as outlined in the Care Standards Act 2000. Additionally, you will contribute to business development by arranging visits with care managers, attending job fairs, interviewing new recruits, and keeping paperwork up to date.
