Activities Coordinator
Duties:
1. Plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of activities and events for residents in a care facility.
2. Develop and implement engaging programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
3. Collaborate with staff members to ensure activities align with the needs and interests of residents.
4. Create a monthly calendar of activities and distribute it to residents and their families.
5. Lead group activities such as games, crafts, exercise classes, and outings.
6. Provide individualized attention to residents who may require additional support or have specific needs.
7. Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and feedback for each activity.
8. Evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make adjustments as needed to enhance resident engagement.
Skills:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
2. Strong organizational abilities to plan and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
3. Creativity and innovation in developing engaging programs that cater to a diverse range of interests and abilities.
