Registered Manager - Learning Disabilities & Autism Service
Are you an experienced Registered Manager or Ward Manager/Deputy Manager with expertise in managing challenging behaviours and promoting positive behaviour support? We are currently working with a leading healthcare provider to find a dynamic individual to lead a service near Colchester.
About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service, which supports men and women with moderate learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that may be seen as challenging. This role offers the chance to work closely with a dedicated and experienced team, delivering high-quality care while also driving operational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and regulations
2. Meeting quality and financial targets to ensure the continued development of the service
3. Building strong relationships with external stakeholders such as purchasers and referrers
4. Leading the team through supervision and development processes
5. Participating in strategic contract reviews and representing the service in meetings with key partners

About You:
We are looking for someone with:
1. Experience in Positive Behaviour Support and managing challenging behaviour (essential)
2. Registered Nurse status (essential)
3. A successful track record in management within the social or healthcare sector
4. Strong commercial acumen to drive service delivery, budget control, and business development
5. A leadership style that fosters inclusivity and supports team development
6. Experience working with external agencies, including CQC, Safeguarding, and CCGs
