Job Type: Temporary (potential for permanent) Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm Start Date: January 2025 We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our clients team in Southampton on a temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent role. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and increasing customer retention levels, providing excellent customer service, and actively promoting membership benefits to current and prospective members. Day to Day of the role: Retain and renew customers through outbound telephone calls, ensuring members fully understand the benefits of membership. Deliver supportive and tactful customer service, handling member complaints and enquiries with professionalism. Work towards achieving individual and team targets across various timeframes. Maintain accurate member details on the database and document all call outcomes. Suggest new practices or modifications to existing ones to enhance sales performance. Regularly report on retention figures to maintain accurate and current data. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in sales, upselling, or a related field is desirable. High standard of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficient in customer service techniques and objection handling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Team player with the ability to work collaboratively. Competent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, and experience with large membership databases.
