The Medical HSEP (Health Services for Elderly People) team, specialising in working with patients living with frailty, is excited to be able to offer a Band 6 Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy post.
You will be joining a friendly, well established integrated therapy service, working alongside experienced colleagues and supported by experienced occupational therapists and physiotherapists as well as a Frailty Lead Therapist/Advanced Clinical Practice Trainee and Clinical Lead. The post will be based on the medical and HSEP wards, where you will be working alongside cohesive, supportive and forward thinking multidisciplinary teams.

You will need to be a dynamic team player with excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate a broad range of experience. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of clinical reasoning, organisational and prioritisation skills in order to manage a caseload effectively.
You will be joining an experienced multidisciplinary therapy team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Dietitians and Therapy Support Workers, supported by a Clinical Lead Therapist and Frailty Lead Therapist/Advanced Clinical Practice Trainee.

This vacancy has been advertised in accordance with the new NHS pay rate which will take effect from autumn 2024. Please note if your employment starts before the 24/25 pay scales are implemented you will be paid under the 23/24 pay scales and any backpay will be adjusted accordingly.
