Cheval Collection are looking for a confident and professional Procurement Manager to support our procurement function which provides a key resource to our evolving brands, Cheval Residences, Cheval Maison and MY Locanda and our 13 luxury properties in London, Edinburgh and Dubai.
As Procurement Manager, you will collaborate with both internal teams and suppliers on a daily basis, driving the procurement process across a diverse range of operations. Your responsibilities will include sourcing and selecting the best suppliers, fostering strong supplier and stakeholder relationships, and dealing with any challenges that arise to ensure smooth operations.
Reporting directly to the Director of Procurement, you will play an instrumental role in resourcing quality that matches our brand, whilst following budget guidance and meeting the operational efficiencies expected from the Cheval portfolio. You’ll also ensure the timely delivery of supplies, services, and works that are essential to make a significant impact within a growing and fast-paced environment!
For this role you must have an excellent sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer alongside outstanding leadership and strong communication skills.
As Procurement Manager, some of your duties will include:
* Act as the lead super user for the procurement system, ensuring accurate maintenance of supplier details, products, pricing, and all other relevant modules.
* Deliver training for new starters and provide ongoing support to existing users to ensure effective use of the procurement system.
* Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and departmental guidelines, collaborating closely with the Director of Procurement.
* Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing updates, product changes, and address any queries to ensure smooth procurement operations.
* Collaborate with Finance teams to process invoices and credits, ensuring accurate pricing and payment for products and services.
* Collaborate with Heads of Departments (HODs) and suppliers to ensure smooth order processing through emails, reminders, and alerts.
* Stay updated with new trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement to ensure industry relevance.
We would love to hear from you if you:
* Have experience in a procurement role within a luxury lifestyle brand ideally hospitality.
* Have a broad knowledge of procurement systems with practical knowledge and hands-on experience with procurement processes and systems to manage purchasing and supplier relations efficiently.
* Are confident in at least one PMS (property management system) software, ideally Opera Cloud.
* Possess good organisation skills, efficient in prioritising tasks, managing time, and meeting deadlines consistently in a fast-paced environment.
* Have good administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate experience in Excel.
* Have outstanding communication skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders, from colleagues to external partners.
* Have basic to intermediate experience in bookkeeping, managing financial records, including tracking income and expenses, invoicing, and reconciling accounts.
