Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for an Advanced Practitioner within the Leaving Care Team to work full time based in Gloucestershire.
The salary for this permanent Advanced Practitioner job is up to £54,474 per annum.
Main duties:
* Demonstrate exemplary social work practice in accordance with Social Work England’s professional standards to promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in need of support, protection, and care.
* Ensure that all social work activity is compliant with statutory guidance, legislation, and GCC policies and procedures.
* Deliver consistently good and effective social work practice to improve outcomes for children, young people, and their families through evidenced-based practice which is consistent with the Essentials Programmes and Practice Fundamentals.
* Manage a protected caseload of up to 8 children and young people with complex and challenging needs, risks, and circumstances.
* Risk assess and review plans to build on identified strengths and address the risk of significant harm to achieve and maintain long-term safety and wellbeing for children and young people.
* Lead and facilitate monthly group reflective supervision sessions with the team to bring challenge and support, promote professional curiosity and critical thinking, model best practice, and promote good outcomes for children and young people.
* Work closely with the Team Manager, Social Work Academy, and, where necessary, Human Resources Business Partners to ensure that local training needs are met and evaluated on an individual and team basis in accordance with Performance Development Reviews, Probation Reviews, Accreditation Reviews, and Supervisory requirements.
* Chair and attend relevant meetings which require professional input including where social workers may need to be supported, including in the Court arena where required.
* Be professionally accountable to ensure high quality and best practice standards for self and others at all times.
* Maintain and facilitate professional working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure service delivery.
Requirements of an Advanced Practitioner job:
* A social work qualification or equivalent.
* Understanding of relevant legislation.
* Registered or eligible for registration.
* Experience in fostering recruitment-related activity.
