The pupil needs morning only support and has Autism needs – previous experience with this would be preferred. Due to the nature of the role, a commitment to a long-term position which provides continuity for the pupil. This SEND Teaching Assistant Job role: Teaching assistant working with SEN pupil on a 1:1 basis Build relationships with the pupils, parents and staff. Show secure subject knowledge to support learning. Follow school policy regarding behaviour management systems. Working 5 days per week – 8.30 to 1.00pm Required Skills and Experience for this SEND Teaching Assistant role: Valid teaching assistant qualification (minimum Level 2) Previous experience working across a range of UK Primary year groups A nurturing and caring approach with young people. Commitment to a long-term role. A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months. Minimum of 2 excellent references required. Working for Flourish Education as a SEND Teaching Assistant you will receive: A competitive salary of £58.86 - £68.13 per day which equates to £11,477.70 - £13.285.35 based on working 5 days a week for the full school year.
