Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Secondary Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutor to join our team in Wokingham, Berkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored academic support to secondary school students with special educational needs.
Job Duties:
* Design and deliver individualised lesson plans to meet the specific needs of students with SEN
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with teachers and parents to create a supportive learning environment
* Provide guidance and support to help students achieve their academic goals
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
Required Qualifications:
* Previous experience working with students with special educational needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
Education:
A relevant teaching qualification
Experience:
Experience working with secondary school students with special educational needs
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
* Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
* Excellent organisational skills
Working Conditions:
This role is part-time, temporary, and based in Wokingham, Berkshire. The working hours are flexible based on student needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
