Cleeve Primary School are looking to appoint a caring and dedicated Achievement Support Assistant to work one-to-one with a child with an Educational Health Care Plan.
The successful candidate will:
* Provide effective 1:1 support to maximise attainment following targets set out in support plans/EHCPs.
* Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence.
* Have a knowledge of children with SEND and or emotional/behavioural needs.
* Support the child with early development needs including speech and language.
* Undertake structured and agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities where appropriate.
* Attend any relevant training where necessary.

Actual Salary: £16,378 - £16,898 per annum
Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only (190 days) - daily hours to be discussed at interview
Contract Type: Fixed Term - the post will end when the child leaves the school or if the funding for the EHCP ceases
