1st Executive are seeking an Indirects Sourcing and Supplier Manager on behalf of a high-profile organisation who are transforming their internal business model through a period of corporate modernisation. Responsibilities:
1. Deliver the Procurement strategy to maximise value from third-party spend, including cost reduction, working capital benefits, revenue generation, and service delivery within the indirects category.
2. Oversee key commercial, contractual, and performance aspects of external supplier agreements.
3. Proactively manage and optimise supplier partnerships and ensure compliance with Procurement policies and third-party risk management requirements.
4. Lead commercial and complex sourcing strategy for the indirects category, including opportunity and risk identification.
5. Negotiate with key suppliers and lead regular supplier business reviews.
6. Implement projects to support savings delivery and risk mitigation.
7. Engage senior-level stakeholders, building and maintaining strategic relationships across the business.
8. Take ownership of key contract financials.
9. Manage large-scale multi-million Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities.
10. Support Head of Category Procurement members in developing and implementing a Strategic Spend.
Experience Required:
1. Experience in indirects procurement full life cycle sourcing and category management, specifically within indirects strategic sourcing.
2. Familiarity with negotiating and driving value from tier 1 suppliers and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with third parties.
3. Strong commercial experience with the ability to influence decision-making at the managerial level.
4. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels, including C-suite stakeholders.
5. Experience working in a regulated industry sector is ideal.
6. Degree qualified.
