About:
We’re looking for a highly motivated, experienced Analyst to work within our Commercial Finance Team! You will be adaptable, confident partnering with stakeholders and providing support across the business. You will have a proven track record in financial and commercial analytics, and preferably experience within either customer operations and/or web analytics.
You’ll be confident in building relationships, providing support to various areas of the business and thrive in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
You’ll enjoy thinking on your feet, whilst also having the opportunity to utilise your skills as a natural problem solver and driver of change by identifying and acting upon areas for improvement across the business.
The Role:
By joining our team you’ll:
1. Sit within the Distribution business, supporting our teams in their various missions to enhance and grow Holiday Extras
2. Have the opportunity to collaborate with the likes of Partnership Distribution, Products and Supply, Customer Operations or enhancing our website with the Tech & Product team.
3. Analyse performance, spot opportunities and support with renegotiations.
4. Partner teams to understand their future data requirements, whilst helping them self serve.
5. Bring insight and recommendations to the team, whilst extracting, forming, manipulating and modelling data.
What you can bring to the team:
6. Proven experience in an Analytical role, with a strong track record of leveraging data for performance insights.
7. Expertise in business partnering, an ability to build strong, productive relationships with stakeholders.
8. The ability to spot opportunities to grow profit, improve trading performance, save costs or be more efficient
9. Commercial and business acumen.
10. Ability to see a problem and deliver a solution.
11. Numeracy and strong attention to detail.
12. Expert with Excel/Google Sheets.
13. Experience of SQL and/or BI tools (we use Looker).
14. Ability to see the bigger picture for the business and not get wrapped up in small details.
15. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to inform and influence.
