We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work under the direct instruction of teaching colleagues, usually in the classroom with the teacher but also within other settings, to support access to learning for students and provide general support to the teacher in the management of students and the classroom.
You're someone who'll be able to:
* Promote the inclusion of students.
* Liaise with the class teacher to work with students to target identified learning needs.
* Work with subject teachers to ensure lesson materials are used effectively in order for students to make the expected progress towards their target levels.

About Maltings Academy:
Maltings is a 11-16 academy based in Witham, Essex. Situated between the cities of Chelmsford and Colchester, the academy has 900 students on roll and benefits from a purpose-built building that was constructed in 2011. There are excellent transport links to London which enables our staff and young people to take full advantage of the wealth of opportunities that London provides. Free car parking facilities are available on site.
