Godolphin, a world-leading thoroughbred operation, seeks an experienced Accommodation Services Manager to oversee its portfolio of 350 residential properties and 14 licensed HMOs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in a similar residential property environment, with strong leadership skills and previous team management experience.
About the Role
This challenging role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting Godolphin's people and horses. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a small team of employees
* Collaborating with the Property Department to ensure efficient maintenance and repairs
* Serving as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders regarding housing requirements
* Overseeing the void property process and procuring accommodation-related works
* Facilitating the setup of accommodations for new employees, including furniture, household goods, and cleaning provision
* Ensuring all vacant properties are inspected weekly during periods of non-occupation
* Oversight of tenant viewings, inductions, and stock condition surveys
* Annual property visits and reporting of any necessary actions
* Taking legal action regarding breaches of conditions/tenancy and serving notices as needed
* Working with local authorities to ensure HMOs meet licensing standards
* Monitoring and managing service contracts, such as gardening and housekeeping
* Executing an annual planned works program and preparing future budget years programs
We offer a competitive salary between £38 - £45k, depending on experience, along with private healthcare and a company car allowance.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to work on multiple tasks concurrently, and possess excellent communication and time management skills. A full UK driving license is also required.
