About The Role
As a Control of Work Coordinator, you will work with the existing Coordinators, the Production Shift Supervisors and the wider Operations team to coordinate high quality Control of Work (CoW) to ensure maintenance can be carried out safely and quickly.
Review and verify RAMS (Risk Assessments/Method Statements) in relation to complex maintenance activities.
Drive optimisation by planning CoW activities in collaboration with operations & maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Writing of permits using the RAP e-control of work system – developing the Area specific elements of the RA
* Carry out the preparation and isolation of plant and equipment for maintenance and reinstatement on completion of work.
* Create Isolation Windows as per the Vivergo CoW standards and procedures as per the Vivergo Maintenance Process in compliance with the weekly schedule.
* Manage and distribute isolations to shift teams to ensure equipment is isolated in line with the weekly maintenance schedule.
* Issue permits using the RAP e-control of work system.
* Confirm completions of CoW activities to all interested parties in line with expectations.
* Calibrate all portable gas monitors.
* Manage stock of consumables for the CoW office.
Additional Information
Support development of operations team members within the CoW function.
* The successful candidate may be required to work some occasional weekends in line with business requirements
Salary: £43,000 - £51,000 depending on experience, plus 10% benefits package.
About You
Knowledge – skills and experience required
* Level 3 qualification in plant operations / production or equivalent engineering discipline.
* Extensive experience in manufacturing operations (ideally petrochemical or refinery)
* Experience of COMAH top tier chemical plant operation and maintenance
* Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical drawings.
* NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent
* Knowledge of the RAP e-control of work system is desired but not essential.
