Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our client company in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's finances, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and management accounts.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of financial tasks, from reconciliations to budgeting and forecasting. You will also have access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the company's finances, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and management accounts
* Reconcile supplier statements and bank accounts
* Prepare and submit VAT returns
* Manage payroll for up to 17 staff members
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in bookkeeping and financial accounting
* Familiarity with Sage 50 software
* Experience working in the construction industry an advantage
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
