Role: Commercial Property Solicitor
Location: Islington, London
Tenure: Full-Time | Hybrid
Proper Recruitment are on the hunt for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a busy law firm client of ours in their North London office. The ideal candidate will have 5 years PQE and experience in Commercial Real Estate.
Responsibilities:
* Taking on matters within the commercial property department, with cases and transactions including (but not limited to) freehold acquisitions and disposals and leasehold assignments, new leases and re-financing etc.
* Providing strategic advice to clients, including investors, developers, landlords, and tenants.
* Managing own case load and building your own work and building contacts with local agents/referrers.
* Contributing to business development efforts and the growth and development of the department by attending marketing and networking events as well as providing regular content for external newsletters and legal updates.
* Identifying and following relevant SRA principles and rules of professional conduct.
* Complying with risk management processes and policies.
Requirements:
* Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills.
* • Adept client care skills and ability to manage own caseload.
* • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* • Must be experienced at multi-tasking, managing time sensitive documents and taking responsibility for delegated tasks.
* • Must thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
* The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years PQE within the commercial property department.
* Must have obtained a 2:1 or First degree or 1st class undergraduate degree.
Salary:
* £70,000 - £85,000
