Job Description
I am working closely with a National M&E Contractor who is looking for an ambitious and driven Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their East Midlands business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established yet growing business with a national turnover of 100m; regionally they are currently turning over 30m with a goal to increase this to 50m within the next 3 years.
Responsibilities:
1. The role would see you have 5 direct reports across a number of live jobs reporting directly into the Regional Director.
2. Manage and oversee multiple mechanical contracts simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
3. Responsible for the delivery of planned commitments to the client, ensuring agreed KPI's and service levels are being met.
4. Work closely with the commercial department to prepare and review budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports related to mechanical contracts.
5. Liaise with all stakeholders and contractors ensuring service delivery and customer satisfaction to the highest level.
6. Collaborate with project teams to plan and coordinate the execution of works, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
7. Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
8. Weekly reporting on project progress.
9. To ensure sub-contractors are procured in a timely manner, ensuring the contract is kept on target from the outset.
10. Manage site installation.
