Life on the team
Reporting to the Group Reward Manager and working alongside other members of our International Reward team, you'll provide advice, guidance and deliver services to HR and the business on all matters relating to Recognition and Benefits. Playing an integral role in the delivery of core Reward processes and new initiatives, both in the UK and globally, this role provides a great opportunity to contribute your existing skills and knowledge during a fixed term maternity cover contract.
What you'll do
Benefits
1. Working in partnership with another team member, you will deliver the UK's annual benefit window for c. 4,200 staff including scheme & benefit design, system review and testing, preparing literature, participating in employee benefit fairs, hosting webinars and issuing communications.
2. Play an active role in the organisation of promotional events and activities to increase employee benefit engagement and take up.
3. Act as a point of escalation for employee benefit and pension queries, liaising with external suppliers as required.
4. On behalf of Computacenter, manage the relationship with our benefit broker and tech provider.
5. Opportunity for involvement in a current project to review our benefit offering globally, supporting the team with the formation of any change proposals across multiple countries.
6. Manage the Income Protection underwriting process for our executives, informing them of the insurer's decision on cover levels.
Recognition
1. Contribute to the further development of our global recognition platform, including the organisation and delivery of training to employees and managers.
2. Play an active role in the organisation of special campaigns and activities to increase employee engagement and take up.
3. Continue the rollout of new long service recognition programmes across multiple countries throughout 2025.
4. Act as a point of escalation for employee recognition queries, resolving where possible or referring them to the recognition platform provider as required.
5. Work closely with the Reward Manager to execute and communicate any significant changes or developments of the programme.
General
1. Compile, manipulate & format detailed employee data from various sources into the required Excel templates.
2. Participate in a rota system to oversee our Shared Mailbox and respond to Helpdesk queries raised across all subject matters, ensuring a timely delivery of service.
3. Contribute to the knowledge growth and education of the wider HR team and business on all Reward matters.
What you'll be
1. Experienced within a Reward specialism at a similar level or a strong understanding from working alongside reward processes in an HR generalist role.
2. Experienced in leading annual employee benefit renewal cycles through a platform, including thorough testing and managing 3rd party suppliers to ensure strong service delivery and resolution of issues.
3. Have strong numerical and problem-solving skills, with excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, ability to manipulate and understand data.
4. Have an inquisitive mind and a strong desire to develop within the Reward environment.
5. Strong planning and organisational skills to ensure that projects are executed to agreed timescales.
6. Confident in communicating with people at all levels and presenting knowledge in the form of webinars and training to HR and the business.
7. Able to adapt positively to changing work priorities and patterns; ensuring key business and HR deadlines continue to be met.
8. Excellent collaborative communication skills.
9. Experience of working in an international team an advantage.
