Orka Financial is currently partnering with a successful, growing business West of Reading that is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join the team. The role reports into the Head of Finance. The Finance Manager will have responsibly for the production of the statutory reporting and sits in a small team ( that may include managing) Duties will include, Preparing statutory accounts/financial statements Documenting issues in a clear, logical, and comprehensive manner, including journal entries and financial statement disclosures Co-ordinating annual audit, work with auditors on deliverables and timing during their fieldwork and follow up queries and perform the necessary procedures and documentation Partnering between the group finance team and on issues such as technical review of complex subsidiary statutory financial statements Tax Compliance; global tax compliance registration, submission and returns including sales and employee taxes Ensuring global VAT codes have been entered correctly into the finance system UK VAT Returns and HMRC VAT compliance (including all global requirements) Ensuring all tax submissions are accurate and deadlines met Supporting the consolidation and external reporting requirements of the group, ensuring compliance with accounting standards Contributing to the development and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures and systems for relevant accounting and reporting Identifying process improvements and assisting in the implementation of related processes and controls Responsible for payroll including global payroll compliance Validating payroll reports and reporting This role would suit a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical accounting experience. The role is based West Reading. Parking is provided and the role is hybrid (2 days a week office based) Salary is up to £65000 dependent upon experience. bonus benefits
