Service Manager
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 + Company Vehicle
Shift: Monday – Friday 40hrs
Location: Coleshill, Birmingham

A successful Forklift Dealership branch based in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Service Manager to join their growing team.
About the Service Manager role:
You will be responsible for the depot's service operation and will report into the depot manager. Your role will be based around the region, managing a team of predominantly field-based engineers as well as a small office-based team. Responsibilities include:
1. Engineer productivity
2. Asset upkeep
3. Customer satisfaction
4. Fleet spend/parts authorisations
5. PM schedules
6. Ensuring staff training is carried out in line with company guidelines and employee requirements
What the Service Manager will need to succeed:
1. A technical background from within Materials Handling or similar
2. Organised and driven individual with previous management and leadership experience
3. Ability to motivate and organise teams while promoting communication and performance
4. A focus on customer requirements and expectations
5. Commercial outlook that facilitates profitable growth of the service operation
What the Service Manager will be doing:
1. Maintaining high levels of health and safety within the service department environments (workshops, office, and customer sites)
2. Carrying out service team 1-2-1/appraisals to ensure visibility of performance and employee engagement
