Then this could be the role for you As the first point of contact for those in our community who are facing homelessness, your role will involve assessing their circumstances and recommending the options available to them. You will be working in a busy, challenging environment and dealing with sensitive and personal circumstances, however your organised methodical approach to your work, will ensure that you can effectively manage your workload. As an accomplished communicator you will be able to demonstrate empathy for those who are vulnerable in difficult situations and deal confidently with individuals who have complex needs. You will assess their needs and provide sound advice, support, and signposting in accordance with the appropriate legislation. Once in post, the team will support you with a variety of personal development and training opportunities including the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Level 3. The role may involve both home working and working from the office, flexible arrangements can be agreed.
