Family Solicitor Annual Salary: £45k - £55k p/annum (negotiable, doe) Location: Buckinghamshire Job Type: Full-time, site based Reed Legal are recruiting for an experienced Family Solicitor with at least 5 years of Family Law experience to join our client’s friendly and supportive team. Responsibilities in the role The Family Solicitor will manage a varied caseload of Family Law matters, including Divorce, Financial matters arising from divorce, Separation, Cohabitation, Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements, Family Law Act Matters and Private Children Act Matters. Work closely with partners of the firm and a team of experienced Family Lawyers and support staff. Consult with clients to assess and manage their legal needs effectively. Prepare legal documents, conduct legal research, and represent clients in court as needed. Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their best interests are represented. Take part in the development and growth of the department by taking on complex cases and mentoring junior solicitors. Skills & Qualifications required: A qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Family Law (Not 5 years PQE, 5 years within Family Law) Excellent knowledge of Matrimonial Law and Children Act Law. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and critical thinking abilities. Experience in court hearings and advocacy (advantageous) Excellent work ethic, being able to work both independently and as part of a team.
