Supporting direct delivery of follow-up stop smoking treatment, support and advice in line with the National Centre for Smoking Cessation Training (NCSCT) guidance providing and being the first point of contact for enquiries, referrals or requests and patient follow-up by phone, text message, post or email building strong and proactive relationships with clinical and ward teams, and wider trust colleagues alongside the tobacco dependence lead supporting tobacco dependence health promotion activities across the trust organising relevant training and education (for example, Very Brief Advice (VBA) and Making Every Contact Count (MECC)) alongside the tobacco dependence lead, local authority commissioned services or other colleagues supporting administration of quality improvement projects related to tobacco dependence, treatment and support ensuring effective administration and recording of patient records, assessments, audits and other assurance and compliance documentation, including for digital solutions offering support and follow-up providing administrative support to the trusts tobacco dependence team. Including, coordination of meetings, teleconferences, training and interviews, and provision of administrative support for those meetings as required (including but not limited to room bookings, catering requests, paper circulation and minute taking).
