About the Commercial Account Handler role:
Reporting into the Director, Dan Hurley, the main purpose of the role is to handle inbound new business inquiries and service existing client’s midterm adjustments and renewal needs, whilst providing a friendly and efficient service throughout.
Key Objectives & Responsibilities will include:
1. Responsible for contributing to the growth of our commercial client base by arranging renewal of policies for existing clients, assisting with midterm adjustments, and driving new business opportunities.
2. Providing an outstanding service by seeking to understand our client’s business operations, opportunities, and insurable risk profile.
3. Liaise with underwriters to help secure the best quotation terms for our client’s.
4. Organise daily workloads to ensure compliance is met at all times.
About You
As our Commercial Account Handler, you’ll have the ability and drive to work in a small but successful team, striving to provide outstanding service to our mainly property and casualty clients. You’ll be the type of person who is keen to learn and develop, whilst being able to understand the range of Insurance products we arrange to help protect our clients.
You will have:
* Experience handling Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance (Minimum 1 year)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong customer service focus with the ability to build strong working relationships
* Organised with the ability to prioritise and manage your own time effectively
* Attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task, updating relevant systems where necessary
* Experience of Acturis broking system is a must
* A good knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Cert CII) or working towards (ideally)
