Candidate Profile:
6. Qualifications: Ideally, an electrical apprenticeship with a Level 3 engineering qualification.
7. Experience: A minimum of 2 years post-apprenticeship experience with a strong multi-skilled background.
8. Skills: Expertise in PLCs, pneumatics, control systems, and general maintenance.
9. Availability: Willingness to work shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
10. Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including the use of PPE, and follow all Health & Safety guidelines.
11. Health & Safety Promotion: Foster a culture of safety by actively supporting Health & Safety policies and encouraging safe working practices.
12. Machine Maintenance: Perform repairs and troubleshoot material converting machinery, addressing both electrical and mechanical issues while maintaining a safe work space.
13. Preventative Maintenance: Execute routine maintenance tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and scheduled work plans.
14. Inventory Management: Efficiently manage inventory, maintaining optimal stock levels through effective use of inventory systems.
15. Continuous Improvement: Drive and participate in continuous improvement initiatives that support the company's objectives, particularly related to Cost to Order (CTO).
16. Project Leadership & Training: Lead projects, mentor team members, and contribute to building a world-class technical team.
