Set in the Malvern Hills, The Elms is in a stunning location and is the oldest (1614) prep school still on its original site. While retaining all that is good about a traditional prep school education, the school is modern in its thinking and development of its pupils. The School is a vibrant, demanding, and supportive environment which encourages pupils and staff to be involved in a broad a range of activities and interests. Art, Drama and Music are especially strong, and the School has an excellent reputation for Sport. There is the school’s farm, where children interact with pigs, sheep, cows, goats, and poultry. The Elms School is a vibrant and happy community with a great sense of purpose and collegiality, where the knowledge of each child as an individual is at the heart of the school. The aim of the school is to embrace childhood, whilst giving every child a sense of adventure and willingness to try new things and be the best version of themselves. The children go onto a variety of senior schools both in the area, and across the UK.
