My Cheshire based client is looking to appoint a Talent & Organisation Development Lead for a new & exciting role within the HR team.
In this role, you will interface with the wider HR team in the UK & Europe as well as collaborating with senior stakeholders across the UK business, offering commercially focused solutions aligned to the talent agenda and in line with the wider people plan. The focus will be on developing management capability and assessing how the Business develops and retains talent, building a robust approach for the future that will engage and align to the company values.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing & driving the Talent & OD Strategy, ensuring alignment to business objectives.
* Partnering the SLT and wider teams, leading & driving the approach to succession, considering skills for the future and alignment to growth plans.
* Responsibility for the ongoing development of Leadership & management training programmes.
* Working across the business and region, fostering a proactive and forward-thinking approach, including talent assessment and identifying areas for development and risk.
* Driving the development and launch of a consistent approach to Early Careers, including the building and evolution of external partnerships and effective management, supporting and coaching the apprenticeship and Graduate cohorts.
* Working with the CoE to implement global initiatives relating to engagement, designing local strategies focused on improving engagement scores.
* Driving the approach to annual performance reviews, developing manager mindset and accountability in line with the global approach.

To be considered, you will have a proven background in Organisation Development and Talent Development, as well as some experience within Early Careers.
In addition, my client is also looking for an individual who is used to a complex, matrixed business going thru significant change and further growth. Experience with other regions outside of the UK is also highly advantageous.
You will be a self-starter, commercially astute and used to pace, working with a diverse workforce/skill sets.
Salary is up to £85,000 per annum plus bonus.
