Over the next 5 years, online sales are forecasted to become the largest contributor of growth to both the category and to JDE. We are clear on how we unlock this opportunity. we are excited to be recruiting for a National Account Executive on Amazon, to help implement our strategy for our largest online customer.
Working closely with the Amazon account manager, you will support in building and maintaining strong internal relationships cross-functionally, implementing effective sales strategies, contributing to delivering key revenue targets and providing the consumer with the best possible shopping experience. Reporting to the Ecommerce Controller, you will primarily be part of the Ecommerce Team, which forms part of the wider Sales function, as well as working alongside our marketing teams to ensure alignment on initiatives and annual plans to help drive our overall brand strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the National Account Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for our products on the Amazon platform, aligned with company goals and objectives.
* Engage externally with a variety of stakeholders to help drive sales growth, optimise product visibility, and develop opportunities.
* Monitor and analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Support NPD launches as part of the go to market process.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales plans and e-Commerce content.
* Conduct regular reviews to ensure best in class product display pages are maintained, inclusive of Amazon Brandstore and A+ Content.
* Supporting the Amazon account in maintaining accurate customer forecasts whilst being responsible for rolling weekly volume and entries into the volume forecasting system, Xtel.
* Responsible for accurate and timely management of financial administration, processing invoices, price queries, deductions and audit claims
* Owns delivery of EPOS, Sell-in, Stock holding and margin tracking reports
* Owns promotional tracking, analysis and evaluation, making recommendations on Amazon
Qualifications
* Prior experience working on Amazon / Online customer
* A restlessness to seek out further growth
* Demonstrable experience in developing and leveraging strong internal and external networks
* Experience with digital marketing tools and techniques, preferably within FMCG
* Financially astute; can interpret a P&L
* Degree educated (or equivalent)
* Good Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to travel to internal & external meetings as required
