About the Restructuring and Insolvency Team
As a school leaver apprentice in the Corporate Restructuring Advisory team, you will learn about the common, industry-specific indicators of financial distress and in some cases why failure is unavoidable. You will receive training in order to provide high-quality investigations, draft accurate advice and prepare statutory and stakeholder-specific reports on the financial and accountancy affairs of the companies in question. You will develop the capability to advise and help clients buy and sell businesses, both on a going concern and a breakup basis. Your involvement will include participation in pitches and proposals through to deal completion. You will have the opportunity to help businesses and their stakeholders by providing advice in respect of business underperformance, or at the varying stages of distress, to help achieve the best outcome for creditors as part of an Administration or Liquidation process. Your time will usually be split between working with the team, our clients and studying for your professional exams.
