Search Engine Optimisation Manager
We are a fast-growing beauty brand based in Stockport, operating on the Shopify platform. With a strong UK presence and an exciting launch into the US market, we’re looking for an experienced SEO Manager to drive our organic growth and visibility. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and execute our SEO strategy.
The Role:
As our SEO Manager, you will take ownership of our organic search strategy, working closely with content, marketing, and development teams to optimise our website, improve rankings, and drive high-quality traffic. You will be responsible for both technical and content SEO, ensuring we stay ahead of algorithm changes and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement an SEO strategy to increase organic visibility in the UK and US markets.
* Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for ranking improvements.
* Optimise website structure, meta tags, content, and internal linking for SEO best practices.
* Work with content teams to develop high-quality, SEO-driven blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions.
* Conduct technical SEO audits and work with developers to fix site issues such as page speed, crawl errors, and mobile usability.
* Build and execute a link-building strategy, securing high-quality backlinks.
* Monitor and analyse website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
* Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly.
* Track and report on key SEO metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role, ideally within eCommerce.
* Expertise in keyword research, on-page SEO, link building, and technical SEO.
* Experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
* Understanding of international SEO, including hreflang tags and market-specific strategies.
* Ability to work collaboratively with content creators, developers, and marketing teams.
* Passion for the beauty industry and knowledge of beauty consumer trends is a plus.
