It is an exciting time for Kingswood Secondary Academy. We are privileged to serve one of the most deprived communities in Northamptonshire, yet our fantastic students are now in the top third of Northamptonshire schools in terms of their academic outcomes.
Contextually, this places our students in the top 5 secondary schools, out of 42, in the county. If you’d like to find out more about how we and our students work together to achieve this, and you are a hard-working individual who enjoys being part of a team, then see the details below about coming in for a ‘Walk and Talk’.
Position Overview
Kingswood Secondary Academy is seeking to appoint an ambitious, inspiring strategic leader, with a clear vision for Sixth Form education, to start in September 2025 or earlier. The successful candidate will work as a key academic and pastoral leader within the Academy, with critical importance for securing the excellent progress and wellbeing of all Sixth Form students. The new Head of Sixth Form will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and be instrumental in the future development of our Sixth Form.
We pride ourselves on the excellent support we give to not only our students, but each other too, and we are keen to find like-minded colleagues to join this collegiate team and who would further support our students’ ongoing success. If this sounds like a place you could also thrive, please apply and see how we can support your career in a friendly and caring manner.
Walk and Talk Opportunity

We do encourage early applications. When we feel we have strong applicants, we tend to call to interview early.
