Main duties of the job
Undertake 3 one-stop clinics per week and 1 follow-up clinic. The one-stop clinic will involve clinical assessment and appropriate physiological testing and/or biofeedback/bowel management. As such, the successful candidate will have a good understanding and experience of GI Nursing and ideally be trained in anorectal physiology and/or bowel management.
The successful candidate will also set up and support an advice service for patients to aid patient experience and avoid unnecessary outpatient appointments.
As this is a 12-month funded post, the successful candidate would need to work closely with the consultants and service manager to measure the success of this post.
