Within your role as a Teaching Assistant you will be required to work with pupils in both Nursery and Reception either in small groups, or on a 1:1 basis, during the teaching of core and foundation subjects, i.e. maths and English, with a particular focus on phonics. You will be required to track the pupils’ progress and demonstrate your knowledge of this progress via feedback to the class teacher, and create a positive and nurturing working environment in which pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential. There are a number of full-time roles available, term-time only until the end of the academic year (July 2025) and relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 education-based qualification) are desired.
