A leading specialist civil engineering contractor based in Hampshire is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor. The Quality Engineer will play a key part in the development and future works of the business, reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager.
About the Role of Quality Assurance Engineer
This regional contractor traditionally specializes in earthworks & ground-works projects across highways, rail, marine, and flood alleviation, valuing up to £60M. The role of the Quality Assurance Engineer will assist with the operational team and be based on-site in Hampshire.
Responsibilities for Quality Assurance Engineer
1. Overseeing and managing the quality systems from conception to completion.
2. Providing relevant system training as necessary.
3. Tracking and monitoring quality issues and providing solutions where necessary.
4. Regularly carrying out site inspections and tests.
Requirements for Quality Assurance Engineer
1. Previous experience using A-site is essential.
2. Knowledge and understanding of ISO standards.
3. Former Civil Engineering experience is mandatory.
