Technical Process Production Scheduler
Location: Hythe, Kent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours, day shift.

The Technical Process Production Scheduler / Planner is needed to expand the technical department due to the rapid growth of the sectors that the company is involved in. Within this role, the applicant will work within the technical team on planning new work which will include:
1. Drawing control
2. Best route of manufacture
3. Bill of materials
Ensuring all new work is planned, and machine programs are processed in a timely manner to ensure that the customer lead times are achievable.
The successful Technical Process Production Planner applicant should have the following qualifications:
1. Ability to read technical drawings
2. Good understanding of manufacturing processes
3. Good knowledge of SolidWorks (training can be provided)
4. Able to work as part of a team and independently
5. Highly motivated
6. Understanding of measuring equipment
7. Problem-solving skills
8. Mathematical mindset
9. Good computer skills using email, Word, and Excel
Reporting to the technical manager, the Technical Process Production Planner role will involve a mixture of shop floor-based and office-based activities. Having a hands-on approach to support the production department will influence building the required skill base to problem solve and assist the whole company.
