Salary: CLF Grade E (£34,740 - £38,419), Term time only plus inset days
Actual starting salary: £29,748 for term time only

What we are looking for:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Attendance Link Worker. We are seeking someone with a deep understanding of the barriers to attendance, who will build strong relationships with students and their families and is able to advocate on their behalf where needed, to ensure students receive the suitable education to which they are entitled. The attached person specification and job description outline the duties and responsibilities.
The Attendance Link Worker will work in partnership with parents and carers to support their children and understand their needs. The aim is to improve pupils’ school attendance and engagement with learning. The postholder will work proactively, finding ways to make the academy as inclusive and accessible as possible; and will increase parental engagement.
This is a fixed term contract, ending on 31st August 2026. The pay grade is CLF E. The role has become available due to a trial of a new attendance structure.
